### A New Chapter for Exohood

The Exohood ecosystem is entering a new development cycle with the relaunch of **ExoSwap**, its decentralized exchange infrastructure.

Following a comprehensive restructuring of the protocol's architecture, interface, and technical direction, our development strategy is now focused on delivering modular, interoperable, and progressively expandable decentralized financial services.

The 2026–2030 roadmap outlines five stages of development, beginning with the deployment of the new ExoSwap platform and progressing toward a broader ecosystem of cross-chain infrastructure, liquidity management, decentralized applications, and developer tools.

Rather than introducing multiple experimental services simultaneously, Exohood will adopt a progressive deployment model in which individual components undergo development, testing, security assessment, and integration before public release.

#### Previous Roadmap Historical Archive

The original 2020 - 2024 roadmap is now considered **outdated and superseded**.

It documented Exohood's earlier research, experimental deployments, blockchain integrations, and development initiatives. These remain part of the project's technical history but no longer represent the current production architecture or future delivery commitments.

The new roadmap replaces that document and reflects the revised direction of Exohood Labs.

### Our Development Principles

The 2026–2030 roadmap is guided by six technical principles.

**1. Self-Custody by Design**

Users should retain control over their wallets and transaction authorization wherever the relevant infrastructure supports a non-custodial model.

**2. Security Before Expansion**

New smart contracts, liquidity mechanisms, and cross-chain services must undergo appropriate testing and security review before production deployment.

**3. Interoperability Over Isolation**

Exohood will prioritize integration with established blockchain networks, decentralized liquidity providers, and open standards rather than creating unnecessary dependencies on proprietary infrastructure.

**4. Transparency and Verifiability**

Contract addresses, transaction execution, protocol fees, and supported infrastructure should be documented and independently verifiable where applicable.

**5. Modular Development**

Components such as ExoSwap, ExoBridge, ExoLocker, and developer services will be designed with independent development and deployment requirements.

**6. Responsible Protocol Evolution**

Development decisions will consider technical feasibility, security, operational sustainability, and relevant regulatory requirements.
